Hey guys I'm not opposed to getting my car professionally tuned. I think i am going to head down that route. I just want more info on the hondata tunes themselves.

I know everyone isn't buying a hondata just to getting it professionally tuned or tune it themselves. Who ever uses the preloaded tunes the hondata came with?

I don't trust tunes that don't match my car. Hondata didn't furnish one that used the K&N FIPK, Berk high flow cat, and Tanabe Medalion Touring Exhaust. Frankly I bought the FlashPro with the same intention as you and was overwhelmed with all the different ways to bugger the engine.

I used the basemaps provided by Hondata in Kmanager. I need to understand you need a wideband, regardless if you get a professional tune or attempt to explore yourself. I have a F22c and using the AP1 basemaps realized I needed to add at least 10% fuel to both low and high speed maps as I was I was border line lean in certain spots of the map. Asking questions on here and reading other forums will help you understand more about what is going on.

Get your timer out and mark a 1/4 mile then lol. That's your flintstones dyno. A lil low load knock is inevitable chasing #'s .... you'll kno when u hit a high load knock! And best thing is you'll even see it on ur flintstones dyno, if u watched all the FP videos you kno, lines don't cross and it should flow.... but! And this is a big but. There is alot more to it then that.GL

The safest thing to do is just adjust fuel and lower vtec once you get a wideband. You will make gains as low as 3600 rpm with factory timing advance, just not 100% of what you could have with more advanced timing in that area, but its not a significant amount more. 3/4 the gains is just from lowering vtec and correct fuel - which is more fuel.
