Default hondata flashpro

Hi, I'm looking at getting a flashpro and I'm just wondering if these fit straight in with no modifications to work? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom.

It simply connects to your ODBII port, nothing else needed. As long as your car has a flashable ECU (model year 06+), you are good to go.

cheers bud. Would that mean I'll need to get my ecu remapped? The reason I'm asking is that I'm wanting a set of itbs so could that support them and see a decent map too?

Cheers

The flashpro is a tool used to remap your ECU. You will need to remap for car to run properly with the ITBs. Will you be tuning yourself or having a shop tune the car? If doing it yourself, I'd recommend using the flashpro. If you're taking it to a shop to have it remapped, I'd pick the shop first and work with them on what you're going to use for tuning.

Thanks bud. I'll be having a shop do it all. I preferably would want it reversible as when the car eventually goes I'd sell separate. I'm guessing with a remapped ecu I'd need to get it mapped again for stock setup? If so then I'd be tempted by the k-pro instead as it would be easier in the long run I'm guessing. Also thinking of jenvey's as I know their bodies are good and nobody has slated them as far as I know. I'm just trying to learn everything I need to know first off lol

No the Flashpro would be easy to return to stock. Just reflash the ecu with stock map, unplug and unlock then sell on.

+1. It would just take a couple of minutes. Not to give you a hard time, but these questions you have are very basic and can be answered just by quickly browsing over the features in the link I provided. Flashpro can do anything you would need and also allows you check/clear diagnostic codes. You should be able to find an experienced tuner, specific to the S2000 and Flashpro would be preferable.

Ideal thanks. It's just I don't have any experience with hondata parts and would just like to know what they are like to live with and tune etc from people that have them or have had them. I think I might go for the flashpro with jenvey bodies then thanks

Sorry to rain on your parade, but that ain't happening. Flashpro only works on DBW S2000's. If you install ITB's, you will need a proper stand alone. Even if you could figure out how to make Flashpro work with a cable throttle, you wouldn't be able to tune the ITB's properly as there is no option for Alpha N (tps based) fuel maps.
