cannot wait to see the tuned results with the hydra. I hope you're tuner is competitent as this is a very difficult ems, not close to flashpro (even though flashpro is an amazing product)

It's called Kpro.
kpro is not full proof emissions testing friendly. its just one step better then aem ems, which is 100% fail. flashpro i beleive would be 100% pass.

Well, I think Kyushin and I were referring to "aftermarket" realtime-tune capable standalone replacement ECU's. Equivalent to the AEM but with the OBDII feature.
At this point it still is wishful thinking. Sucks that all the Engine Management Computer companies have not made one yet. Yes, they can release a product sooner and make more money and keep prices lower by not including this feature. But it would be insanely cool if they had an optional daughterboard that one could buy.. you know, to check sensors and for diagnostics on your off-road car.

Yeah, I can't wait either. It took me a few months modifying the Greddy kit, but it was enjoyable. I find respite from my daily routine working on my cars on weekends. It's not going to be a monster S2000. My goal is getting just some decent results and the satisfaction of seeing all the parts I fabbed and installed work reliably. Hopefully my buddy gets around to moving his Dyno Dynamics AWD dyno into his new shop before the end of the month. I'd hat to have to wait until after New Year's

As EliteTuning mentions, this Hydra requires someone who knows what he is doing and be familiar with all its features. So I gotta wait until either my tuner buddy has time to squeeze me in for a session. I'll report back once I get results. Hopefully a good 350whp or so.

Here are the fruits of my labor:
