Default Infinity won't idle adjust

Just got the 05 s2k running on infinity. Had way too many problem for how much this crap cost. laptop still wont connect unless I kill the power to the ems every time. But anyway, just trying to get it runable to I can get it to the dyno. Need some advice on adjusting the idle. Initially the car ran fine at idle then all of a sudden it just jumps up to 1400 and stays there. I set the idle at 1000 in the wizard, but nothing I do in that tab makes a difference. TPS and IG timing are calibrated properly. UEGO is on and so is feed back the IG timing is holding at 5 degrees.

Have you made sure your firmware is up to date? As this may not be the root cause of your issue, and I'm assuming you're running AEM's base map with just ignition synced and lamba feedback on correct?

Ive had issues with laptop connecting on old poor condition USB cables.

Try reloading base map and let your AEM Infinity certified tuner you're using make the adjustments. The map is basic, but is drivable.

i reloaded the firmware and that made the tps go haywire. After awhile it finally started reading correctly in the tps wizard. And yes, base map with lambda feedback on. I tried 2 different USB cables, including the new one that came with the ems

Thats the plan. I want to get any obvious issues sorted first seeing how many issues have surfaced with this ems I don't want to waist my money and my tuners time if it's a problem with the ems
