You need to drive my civic to see how stock-like ITBs can be! The MAP based tune with DBW is friggin' amazing!

My ITB AP1 was tuned via Alpha-N and it was garbage. Much easier to just put the IACV in place and tune it properly based on manifold pressure.
Any tune can be garbage, even a MAP-based tune. With a standard MAP block, a MAP-based tune is VERY difficult to get right, and it would not really be very streetable.

However, with the new type of MAP block that I developed for my URGE DBW ITB kit, a good MAP-based tune is totally achievable. I was actually able to pass the OBDII inspection with just 1 incomplete readiness code and no DTC's!

Sure, any tune can be garbage, but Alpha-N tunes are more likely to make your car run erratically- changes in elevation, weather/air pressure, extreme swings in temperature, etc I experienced it all.

My car ran great on two different vacuum blocks- the TIDUS block that was limited production, and also the URGE designs vacuum block. Both used the OEM MAP sensor. Both were entirely street able once tuned properly, so I am not sure why you would say a MAP-tune is not very street able.

What is different about your newly designed vacuum block as compared with the one sold by Urge over the past year?
