CAN bus is supported.
LIN bus is supported but irrelevant on the S2K.
DBW is not supported but also irrelevant on the AP1.
Traction control is supported
VTC = VCT? If so, yes.
Closed loop gearbox control, no.
Pit speed limiter, yes.
Half bridge output, yes.
Onboard datalogging, yes, not up to 2000Hz.

I'm not sure why you want to compare a ~$1K ECU to an M400 with all the options checked ($7K) though.

I am not compare your ECU to 7k+ ECU, i am compare what you offer to standard of what other manufacturers are offering right now as today.
ie. AEM infinity, Haltech Elite, Vi-Pac i88..
Ok great, so let's just say I'm in a different market segment and call it a day.

Btw I don't know any AP1s that need DBW support or closed loop gearbox control.

Very kool.

Looks like you've been doing the Miata thing for awhile now.

I'll keep my eye on this as I need a PnP ECU.

Kpro by Hondata is the most popular ECU for the S2000 and it was not built ground up for the S2000? Or at least the most popular for the AP1?
I'm not sure but I would guess that the AEM EMS is much more popular at least in the US.
I also think the first AEM EMS version was released a lot earlier than the kpro.
Here's some info https://www.hondata.com/kpro_s2000.html and if you have more questions you should probably start a new thread or do some searching
The AP1 stock ecu is not rewritable that's why it needs a new ecu for full custom tuning.

Yeah i have started reading, wish there was a starter thread. A lot to take in at once, never messed around with ECUs.

The AEM Infinity is like 2 grand is that really worth it? I guess when your FI you do need some tunability.

Yeah, just makes it easy/cheap for budget swaps though.

We are currently working on improving startup and finetuning the VTEC activation point.

We also need to find an AP2 gauge cluster, as the coolant signal worked fine for the AP1, but not on the AP2 cluster (swapped in an AP1 car).

It was rather amusing to see a stock car with just a decat and an exhaust (stock air filter panel and whatnot) run as lean as 14.5:1 up to 8K on the stock ECU!

Some nice gains to be made there
Are you going to include different basemaps as well?
