Recent start up issues, with Haltech 1000

If you turn the key and let the fuel pump prime, then that helps a lot, seems that is what you are doing

DFWs2k, I knew it was doing something just didn't know what. You know it makes some sense though, before when I'd just start her up quick the car felt like it was flooded with fuel. So maybe this is the little trick. Crossin fingers this just keeps working. Dales my batt is pretty new too, but it's good to rule it out.

i always turn my key to on, then turn tunerview screen on, then put on seatbealt, then plug phone in, then hit the start button

It takes time for bigger injectors (even with the proper cranking settings) after fuel pump has been primed enough to get the car started. I look at a modded car starting up with 8 or less cranks to be normal. Anything beyond that has to do with not enough cranking fuel, fuel pressure, fuel pump, injector settings in the ems, etc...

Yeah makes sense, except I have stock injectors. So in my case it's something else. Thanks for the input s2ki!
