So ill try to keep this as short as possible. My gears are super hard to engage. Opened up the shifter and it was bone dry. Got some grease on it and basically used up the whole container and it didnt really help much. Before I even did this, my throw out bearing had given out so I had that and also installed ballades re-enforced oem clutch. When the mechanic opened up the tranny, he said everything looked fine and didnt see the problem. the slave cylinder has also been replaced, and nothing. So I had no idea what it could be and i've already tried doing my research and nothing has really helped. I will add that it gets a bit smoother after ive used it for a while, but its still not as smooth as my younger brothers s2k or my friends... or anyone elses.

 

I've run 3 transmissions on this car during my ownership. 2 ap1 and 1 ap2. And they all felt and behaved different. Sometimes they felt great and other times notchy and grind 2nd gear for no reason other then random. I chalk it up as a somewhat fussy and dynamic trans, but one overall that is a pleasure to use when its having good days. None of them felt completely consistent from one shift to the next.
