VAFC Harness Help
Any pics of it? Replacement terminals, seals, and connector bodies are available for many different connector makes and types. I'm not familiar with this harness to know what type/make of connector it is. The unfortunate part is that if you have to replace a terminal, a lot of manufacturers have special crimping tools needed for crimping the replacement pin properly. Also, there can be special tools recommended to disengage the locking pins on the terminal so you can pull it from of the connector body without damaging it. It all just depends on the type of connector.
Can you do it without the tools, possibly, depending on the connector type. I am fortunate enough to have access to many of the required terminal extractors and crimping tools so I haven't ever really tried to do it without.
