Does anyone know of a way to validate the integrity or "correctness" of the stock ECU (2000 - 2001 S2000)? I drove 30 minutes to and from a friend's house to swap ECUs to see if mine was having fueling problems or if I just need to rebuild my engine. I got them swapped, tried to start the car and instantly remembered that Honda had the anti-theft-tech key programming stuff back then. I've already dumped a ton of money into other parts trying to diagnose the problem and I don't want to buy a new ECU and take it to the dealer to have it programmed if I can avoid it.
