Just curious how much 93 octane would help in this matter compared to 91?
It's makes quite a difference from what I see. The perplexed on the east cost always seem to boost significantly more and make a good amount more power on there 93 octane compared to our crappy California 91 octane.
gotta love sunny Florida lol.

But in general I run straigh 91 octane 90% of the time.

A supercharger should be much easier to do this because if your running 15psi you really only have that for a split second at redline instead of someone that is turbines like myself. I hit 15psi at 5,000rpm and it hold 15psi till redline at 9,000rpm

Here is my boost plot. Low line is 14-15 psi on 91 octane. Higher line is e85.

wow riceball. Do u still have your s2000. Im thinking about increasing my boost up to 14.4 on 91. What do u think bro. Im on 11.5 psi right now and my tuner is not comfortable increasing it pass that point.

If your tuner isn't comfortable doing it, then A. don't do it, or B get a tuner that is. But you need a confident/experienced tuner for the set up. Yours isn't apparently so I wouldn't trust him, if he doesn't trust himself with your equipment. The equipment should do it, unless its not working efficiently.

yes I still have my turbo s2000. But I have since then switched from the gtx3576r to a smaller gtx3076r Ptuning setup in vavor of better spool and better low end power. My stock f20c now has 130,000 mikes and makes 425whp on 91 octane at 13psi and 588whp on e85 at 20-21 psi. But on cold 40-50 degree weather on 91 octane it does hit 14-15psi. You can definitely push more boost on 91 octane with a bigger turbo safely.

Is this possible...? I have my wastegate springs set at 15psi Tial 50mm from pfab but my tuner said that my tune is only at 11.5psi from the ECU. how is that possible? He showed me the tune and anything pass 11.5psi is blank and empty. he said that if there was a problem the wastegate was gonna open at 15psi to prevent blowing up my engine.
