So what was the point of the 2JZ swap if you're only putting out InlinePro Turbo numbers?

well here's your problem, you wanted 500hp and got a gt45, lol, talk about massive overkill. You would be WAY better off with a smaller turbo.
I just wanted it tuned to around 500hp, but with the capability to go huge. I bought this car initially to sell so I figured I would go with the 45R and just leave it at a super conservative tune. The 45R was basically given to me because the shop that had my car took longer than expected, so they were cool enough to hook me up with some extra parts. I figured the 45R would be better for resale value since it was given to me anyway. I really do need to get a 67mm turbo so it doesn't bottleneck at the downpipe. The downpipe is 3" with a 4" mouth that mounts directly on the hotside of the turbo. I think this is where most of my power is going. Maybe I'll see if someone wants to trade me.

For me personally I am happy with the power it has now, and I would be more than happy with the Inline pro setup. I bought the car to sell last year and I blew the stock engine due to the bad oil jet problem in the '00-'01 models. I didn't know anything about the car at this point. I figured if I bought another stock engine and paid for labor, etc. I was looking at a gauranteed $7-$8k loss. on the car.

I figured I wouldn't lose as much money going with the 2JZ swap and I could have fun doing it. I know I will still lose money on it, but hopefully not an $8k loss. But whatever, the car is a lot of fun and is still wickedly fast, so I definitely don't regret doing it. I'm not even sure if I want to sell it just yet. I would like to keep building on it because it is a pretty sick platform to work with and it has huge potential. I'm pretty sure with a smaller turbo (67mm) and some bigger injectors; 650whp will come pretty easily. Unfortunately I am out of money right now.

Yeah these are the kind of numbers I should be seeing. Oh well, time to save up for a smaller turbo and bigger injectors I guess.
