Superchargers make more power with free flowing exhaust. Disconected the exhaust system and made 352whp!

Not try to thread jack, but I have a similar set-up
I swapped a 04 2.2L into my AP1, just got a base tune last week so I could get a feel for the new motor. Just running 4-5lbs and hope to go to a 3" pulley and hope to get 380-400ish
Novi1K
CT headers
T1R sparrow
SOS 70m throttle body, hon data intake manifold gasket, SOS 3-bar
AEM V1
ID1000s

Any other parts I should look at buying to improve on my set-up
How about a 3 bar map sensor, 255 Walboro and PP/clutch?
I have a SOS 3-bar map, 255 in the tank, 11.5 Comp flywheel and Comp Stage 2 clutch. Here is my dyno @4.5lbs.
I think I may go to my 9lb pulley first then to the 3" pulley just want reliable power to the track.

So many WTFs here and I'm surprised most aren't raising a brow here.

1. Are you still on the stock pump?

2. Read this thread https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/921...percharged-22/ or just flip to the second page in FI about what exhaust to get for a 2.2 S/C. You'll see that a bigger exhaust isn't needed and in fact quite a few guys making over 350whp are using stock exhaust. Mase made 450 (granted it was with a turbo) on stock exhaust.

3. Lastly who is tuning this car? I'm in Jacksonville FL and having Mase tune my car. I expect 340whp WITH A 4.0 pulley. SOS claims 140-160 from stock power (stock power is around 195whp plus 140-160 should be around mid 300s) with this pulley. Made 290whp off of 6psi so something isn't adding up with your car or the tuner is sorry but SHIT.

Ah ok so that gain is probably almost all just having enough fuel now.

I'm with you, getting confused here between what OP is doing and saying and what his tuners are doing. Doesn't make sense, other then its definitely starting to sound like a cluster f@#k.

The question I have at this point, is this the first SC S2k these tuners have touched?

Supporting mods are just that, support. Make sure to have all the support necessary for your set up. I'm guessing that gain is from the fuel pump as well. Ill be tuning my 3.2" pulley and am expecting 380-400whp dyno jet. Will be needing a badass tuner for this goal. I would suspect that you could make another 20-30whp by getting a better tune.

Well we semi hooked the exhaust back up, and it only made 330whp. When I mean semi, I mean we didn't put all the bolts back on because there wasn't enough room to hook it all back up while it was on the dyno. I don't know what to say. Everything I've read points to snaller exhaust making more power. I guess ill update next week when put the 3" exhaust on and put it back on the dyno.
