Default 3mm cometic head gasket trouble

i just bought a 3mm cometic head gasket and installed it and now having trouble with the timing chain its so tight with out the tensioner and now i cant put the tensioner on idk what to do need help ?

i got it all togehter i twiced the tensioner all the way down and put a pin in it to hold it then bolted it on and pull the pin out ....
now am just having trouble with the timing now the car wont stay runing
