if you just want 400whp. get a used vortech sc and a used sandalone. the 1012's go for 700 used now and remember there plug n play, dont need to buy a harness.

[QUOTE=ECale3,Jan 26 2010, 08:15 PM] I have 106whp over my baseline stock dyno on an unopened block (stock down to the headgasket) on a DD S2000 (310whp daily driven at 8psi) on pump gas.

What do you guys think? Seems like the ebay kits are starting to get less shitty as time goes on.
HMFIC said he had that kit...

i have the godspeed kit... as a matter of fact, this my 2nd time turboing my same s2000 with 2 different godspeed kits...

i'm pushing 330whp and 230tq. kit costs 2500 minus fuel and management..comes with at 50 trim t3/t4 turbo... revhard mani, bla bla bla... and i'm 11 psi....on a low reading dyno...

this turbo is beggin for more boost.. and when i' give it to her later, she'll be well above 400 on the same kit...

cant do that with a greddy, and you cant beat the price with any other kit..

I know whats what I'm thinking, thats why I didn't understand why because one guy had a retainer failure it means you need to build your head or get crazy supporting mods.

I know you guys along with everyone else alive, minus dsmers, hate Godspeed turbo kits or any ebay turbo kit for that matter but I looked at the items and it seems kind of legit. They're using an actual Garrett and Rev Hard log manifold. Ebay IC's have proven themselves in many applications already and the DP and IC plumbing looks like its already been made to fit the S2k. Only things I'd probably replace on this kit are the ewg, bov, and lines/hoses and couplers.

HMFIC has the Godspeed Turbo kit, you want to ask about that kit in everyday life, he is the guy to talk to.

In all honesty, the Godspeed kit is very very similar to my Ultimate Racing kit except it has less brand name parts.

IIRC the retainer failures are more common on AP1's than AP2's.

People stop posting can I make a turbo kit for $2 or $4000... It can be done, but very shitty! Do it for the safety of that $2-3000 dollar motor sitting in your car..

Interesting.. by the time you're done with that Ebay kit you might as well buy the Inlinepro one. Its missing the Injectors & oil relocation kit.

i spent right around 4000-4500 if i can recall OUT THE DOOR including tuning..

I've had 2 godspeed kits..

the one i have now pushed 330whp at ISP.. and 328whp last week at PTUNING. whom has the DynoDynamics dyno.

godspeed kit+ultimate racing oil relo kit.
50 trim turbonetics t3/t4
tial wg 38mm
greddy rz bov
1000cc ID injectors
1052U AEM EMS NEW!
255 lph fuel walbro
Tuned at ISP

For those that say you CANT do it for around that price... you're wrong...

For those that say you CAN do it but its Shitty? and unreliable?! DEAD wrong..

I've had both kits... Both kits treated me the same. WITHOUT ANNNYYYY PROOOBLLLEEMS...

A few folks on here have seen my kit. I dont have to move anything around to make it fit, its direct bolt on, and i had zero issues with the kit. ONE issue i've had was an oil leak from the oil drain line because "I" didnt install it correctly. that is called Installer Error..not the kits fault.

I bought both of my kits from GODSPEED themselves. I asked are they selling their kits on ebay.. they said YES. So it is the same kit.

BUT there are folks and vendors out there that are selling it as well but NOT including the real stuff like the real tial bov vs some off crap brand or fake BOV. AND they usually dont include the oil relo kit.

to say you should get a INLINE PRO kit for around that price? as much as i love inline pro its NOT a full bolt on kit. for example.. you must weld the down pipe to mate to the exhaust... ect...

Again... I hop in the car.. start it.. starts perfectly everytime.. and i drive.. i drive like a granny? i drive like a bad ass and smoking tires... i drive hard for long ways and i cruise for long ways... This kit... no.. BOTH kits have NOT failed me...

People are only concerned with the NAME brand or jump on the band wagon saying, Oh go with this brand cuz everyone else does... or Don't go with that one cuz its on ebay... ok? and? it still smokes the greddy kit outta the box because i'm running full components that i'm running roughly around 4 grand...

I mean NO disrespect to the greddy kit.. NONE... its an awesome kit and i support greddy.. but i knew i wanted was external wg, bigger turbo, and the potential for upgrades... the Godspeed was the best choice for me. Ultimate racing kit is another awesome kit as well!!!

Obviously i'm only pushing near 330whp on a dynodynamics dyno.. but it hauls ass enough for fun and daily with no problems...

if you want more.. then raise the boost.. i'm only on 11... its a small turbo.. but it spools almost full spool at 3000rpms on my AP2.

it is what it is... Joeys route is AWESOME.. and i'll soon be there in a couple months...is it money? yes... but can you get a decent kit.. get around 330whp on a dynodamics without breaking a sweat with this godspeed kit? yes...

Its the power that you want, and what you'll be using it for is what matters at the end of the day..

I hope this helps everyone.
