S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Even if this isnt related I'm going to start the process of swapping my ACT HD PP out, I'm not sure what I'm going to go with in its place but its too risky.

8-10 PSI is too low at idle. What pressure were you seeing at higher engine speeds?

Cheers,

Driving your car despite the fact that it has extremely low oil pressure isn't what I would call "Babying it".

The color of your clutch fluid has absolutely nothing to do with what happened to your car. S2000 clutch fluid goes black within days or weeks after a fluid change. It is NOT burnt. It has to do with the color leaching out of the seals in the master cylinder.
I would consider that it was your WHP and low oil pressure that was to blame for your crank walk and ultimate engine demise. ACT clutches have been in use in both NA and FI S2000s for very high mileage and years with no problems whatsoever. Let's not start putting blame on something when proof is so lacking.

while its true he was putting down some good power and had low oil pressure, lets not put ACT off the hook. Why do you guys not want to admit there is something wrong with their kit? Devs2k had crankwalk b.c of their kit too. You think they are redesigning their kit for no reason? No problems whatsoever? why dont you pm Devs2k and find out if he had a problem. There are a crap load of people at 400+ with no signs of crank walk so please spare me the bull shit that ACT had nothing to do with it.

so low oil pressure for 1000 miles caused his crankwalk? i doubt that. and what is the oil pressure everyone else has with the ILP kit?

oil level is perfect. i check it religiously. its also squeaky clean, as is coolant, and all other fluids.

oh, and to add to that statement on oil pressure - i monitor it via a sandwich adapter on the filter side of my oil relocation, so i've always expected the numbers to run a little bit low.
my oil pressure sensor was right off the block and my idle pressure was 15-20 psi

when i moved it to the sandwich adapter on the filter side, it showed 10-12 psi, which is consistent with your numbers

i also had an oil cooler; i think that is reducing pressure a bit...
