Oil cooler can cause a drop in pressure for sure.

I take oil pressure readings off my relocation block as well and on very hot days during the summer my idle pressure can be as low as 10-12. I believe the oil pressure light on the dash turns on under 10psi so relocation block must experience a little less pressure then the where the solenoid of the light is.

I just came back from a run with my car.My oil pressure at start-up when cold is 75 psi,of course that's with 1500 rpm's or so start idle.Even after hot and a half hour of brisk driving it's over 25 psi ( closer to 30) and that's at dead idle.If I even blip the throttle to say 3k rpms it jumps to 75-80. I did do the clutch switch delete because I'm old school and hated having to step on the clutch to start the car.

Prove it!

ACT was compelled to redesign their PP because of some whiney little twirp (Goddard) who ran around yelling "the sky is falling" about ACT causing thrust washer failure. He promised proof but proof could never be provided. Because of the bad press, there was no choice for ACT but to do something. In fact, what they did was relatively insignificant and was merely to appease the impressionable readers out there so as to do a little damage control. No point in PMing anybody, because he won't be able to prove it either.
You're looking to blame someone and ACT is handy. Are you hoping to get ACT to pay up? Buck up and take responsibility for your own actions. You boost your engine to pump out 400+ WHP and you didn't want clutch slip so you put in a HD PP. Something blew and you now want a scapegoat. Get the proof. THEN place the blame.
You actually thought that the black clutch fluid meant it had something to do with your clutch? Wow!
I do not think that it is necessary to start namecalling to make your point. Your call, however. I just thought that was against the rules here.

are you freaking serious? there is atleast 2 people that i personally know of that have had crank walk with the ACT kit BUT WAIT is there anyone else that has had crank walk with a 400+ whp car with a different clutch kit? THE ANSWER IS NO.

Go talk to inline pro ask them why they dont sell ACT clutch kits. you know nothing about this. No one said they are going to try to make ACT pay for this. Obv. there is a lot of factors that go into something like this but hey the ACT kit seems to be a common factor in these cases.

Regardless, back on topic. telos whats the plan now?

telos,

had you diengaged your clutch switch so you didnt have to clutch in at idle? I did that one mine and switched to a k&n oil filter which tony1 said shows 5-8psi higher IIRC.
no, i did not mess with the clutch bypass for startup. i'm not sure i believe an oil filter would help me out either in terms of oil pressure, especially since i have to use relocation, but i am unsure.

I am not name calling anyone who is in this thread or even on this forum. Goddard has been banned. I can call Mickey Mouse a f**king moron if I want. It's got nothing to do with anybody here.

As for the topic at hand, the examples cited are a tiny %, as is the comparison - weak at best. If you wish to catapult that to unbelievable proportions, go right ahead. The causes of crank walk has been debated by experts for decades. Noone can come up with proof or a consensus. If you've got this proof, you get the door prize.
it doesnt matter if hes on this forum or not. i think your a Fcking retard. if u can talk about goddard than i can talk about ur dumbass
