You guys need to use lockNUTS, not lock washers. Trust me, I have had the same problem many times.

I called Summit Racing and ordered 7 ARP studs without nuts and I think that was about $35. I am using lock nuts from atpturbo.com and both are holding up very well.

3 of my stock studs broke and one got stuck in the head. Tried drilling it out and messed up the thread Had to removed the cylinder head and sent to the machine shop. They repaired the thread and while it was there, I went ahead w/mild port&polish and reconditioned the head.

I highly recommend better studs for anyone going turbo.
