Question while we are kinda on topic.

In the past with e-manage I got used to just manually loading the maps via the laptop when switching from my pump map to my race gas map

Well, I bought a AEM tru boost controller gauge, I believe that with this controller you can have 2 boost settings, now will this or can this gauge be incorporated into the AEM software so it changes the maps as well? or we'll the controller ONLY change the amount of boost?

I'm about 99% sure there's no output on the gauge that you could use to change maps. Would be cool though.

[QUOTE=Evans Tuning,May 28 2009, 01:31 PM] Its best to start with a conservative curve on the error duty table.

The target boost comp table is not defined properly if you are entering a load value for the "hi" input, and you are not reaching it.
Well thats what I don't undertand.

It is showing approx 12lbs in the boost switch target, but I am hitting 15lbs.

So I'm actually exceeding the value?

He's referring to the table at the top right on this pic...

Although that is in kPa, if it were (or is now) in PSI you would just go to the 12psi breakpoint, or closest to it, and lower the duty %.

If you want to switch to PSI go to configure / units / load units

Hope that helps
