Default AEM EMS 1052 or 1052U?

So I'm scapping the Emanage and going with the AEM EMS. Which unit do i need? I am currently running a PLX multigauge with AFR. Do i still need the 1052u? what is the difference between the two? One integrates a aem wideband? Will i need to run the AEM wideband or can i just keep my current plx setup?

Also will i need any other components in doing this engine management change? Or can i just plug in the AEM EMS/retune and be good!

you don't need the "U" version if you are going to run a different wideband. Its the ONLY difference between them.

is there any benefit to run the AEM wideband with the EMS versus my current PLX setup?

I would rather run the PLX setup than the AEM Wideband.

The only downside to running the PLX is that you will have to slice into the ECU harness to wire in the wideband. I really don't get why they don't let you use an open 0-5V input on the D connector, but thats the way it is.

Where do you splice into the AEM ecu? how difficult is this?
