Default AEM EMS for 2006 S2000's

I have made a few contacts that can build adapter harnesses that will retain plug and play compatibility with the standard AEM EMS on the DBW 2006+ models. However, we need a car to do this with, probably for some amount of time. Im sure we can get you a free harness or something for the time, this will have to be worked out when the time comes.

If you are in Orange County, CA area, PM me and we will discuss any details.

I think this is on-topic, as it will help out the FI community(hell, even NA). If its not, please delete

Actually I think this needs to be in the main forum. That way more eyes will see it.

If mods will duplicate, go ahead. I just figured most who want the EMS have a little bit of extra air being pushed into the motor...

I just don't think the new MY06 owners are thinking about that just yet. But I am sure someone would be willing to offer their up. You know that Hondata has an MY06 ECU in the works, and they got a customer to offer up the car. So AEM EMS should be a slam-dunk

Good luck with AEM getting the EMS to work with the 06. They've had over 6 years to make one work with the 96+ NSX and haven't been able to overcome the TBW.

These guys make the AEM systems. They also offer DBW. They might have an ECU that can be made 100% plug and play.

It uses AEM's standard 1052(U) box, but will use adapter harnesses to utilize the stock ECU to control the DBW, and everything else will be controlled by the AEM EMS.
Same thing is being done on the 95+ NSX, I wonder how I know that?

This is not true. They don't make the AEM systems.
A long time ago when AEM started their project they bought technology and software from Gems. But it was just that. Now the evolved AEM EMS has nothing to do with Gems. The software is done at AEM too ...
