There was no need to have a software changes with what I have done however there are a few base map changes that I had to do. but I supply my custom base map with my systems. In the NSX EMS I did have to make changes inside the EMS to be able to make it compatible to use. There should be no problem keeping all of the systems on the DBW system intact. Seeing how the AEM EMS works in conjuntion with the stock computer.
Ok...forgive my ignorance here...I could have sworn somebody on this forum told me that an AEM EMS completely replaces the factory ECU.

It does replace the ecu on a cable operated throttle application (MY2000-2005) but you use the EMS as a piggy back in a DBW car (MY2006) because the stock ecu has to operate the DBW.

I am now moving foward with My Engine Management system for the 2006 s2k. I will have one up and running in the next month or so I will keep updating you guys as time goes on. It looks like I will be able to do the same thing I did with the NSX.

have you worked out the interference issue on the nsx harness??
i can attest to the quality of the harness ive used one on a dbw nsx and it worked fine, just had issues with interference in the harness.
Yes the interfence problem has been solved on the nsx and my system is now working flawless on the nsx. As for the 06 s2000 I am hoping it will work just like the nsx did. there should not be any problems but I need a car before I can release a product. After 3 months of strait of r&d on the nsx I have good feeling how the honda dbw systems work.
What was causing the interence ? I may have similar problem on my S2000 Ap1 and AEM EMS v2. As soon engine runs values for tps, coolant temp etc are very jumpy, I mean way to much to be able to fine tune the map. I suspect the problem is inside the AEM box...
