I own a 95 Acura NSX and when the time is right, it will be unveiled. OMG, its DBW and OMG it uses an AEM EMS 30-1002, and OMG its turbo! Exactly in the configuration described above; stock computer in place(traction control is lost, but can be reprogrammed by the tuner into the AEM EMS), controlling all of the DBW functions, the AEM EMS controlling everything else. Several OBD2 NSX's have been running in this configuration now and making great power with various methods of boost. Ill be next, and Ill be driving the car to Florida from Michigan on my honeymoon trip at the end of March.
Dibs on a ride if you have time...

Yep, July 8th, we are bringing invites to the locals down there Not really expecting anyone to come, but its GORGEOUS up here that time of year, and the biggest party of the year, Cherry(popping if youre single)Festival is going on for entertainment.

And naturally, anyone who shows up to Bills will get a ride if I can get this damn thing going(waiting on the turbo still).

Congratulations on the nuptials, Cody. Good thing you are already familiar with crazy scary rides. Of course YMMV

still looking for a car for r&d. Like Cody said I will be giving you a free harness, free tuning and the AEM EMS at my cost. If any one of you are interested in having this done please contact me at the shop.

have you worked out the interference issue on the nsx harness??
i can attest to the quality of the harness ive used one on a dbw nsx and it worked fine, just had issues with interference in the harness.

BTW...I don't see how this simple hardware fix (i.e., harnesses) will make the current AEM EMS compatible with an MY06 S2000. I think it is far more than a hardware issue. The MY06 ECU is vastly different from the PY ECUs. It controls new features such as: DBW, cruise control, VSA, maintenance/oil reminder, etc.

It would seem to me that a new software program would be required to make the EMS compatible.

Good luck with AEM getting the EMS to work with the 06. They've had over 6 years to make one work with the 96+ NSX and haven't been able to overcome the TBW.
Your statement is not true. I own a 2004 NSX with a Lovefab turbo system and the MSL AEM ems. The driveability and performance is FLAWLESS.

Yes the interfence problem has been solved on the nsx and my system is now working flawless on the nsx. As for the 06 s2000 I am hoping it will work just like the nsx did. there should not be any problems but I need a car before I can release a product. After 3 months of strait of r&d on the nsx I have good feeling how the honda dbw systems work.

There was no need to have a software changes with what I have done however there are a few base map changes that I had to do. but I supply my custom base map with my systems. In the NSX EMS I did have to make changes inside the EMS to be able to make it compatible to use. There should be no problem keeping all of the systems on the DBW system intact. Seeing how the AEM EMS works in conjuntion with the stock computer.
