AEM EMS back to Stock ECU, 650 CC + SC
Hi pros,
i'm a bit technically ignorant when it comes to cars, here's part of the performance list:
comptech supercharger + aftercooler
AEM EMS ECU
Mugen headers
650 CC injectors
custom straight pipe
Is restoring the car with:
Stock ECU
Stock cat
O2 sensors
Knock sensor
Any particularly issues I should remain aware of when restoring the car's ECU back to stock? Any particular steps I ought to take?

The stock knock sensor should already be on the car. Unless you know it is missing or was reaplacled with something else?
So you are going to remove the following?
AEM EMS ECU
650 CC injectors
custom straight pip

I think I have a spare set or two. Make me an offer.
So I now have some additional questions. I assume you are going to leave the supercharger on the car. If so, how to you plan to manage the timing, fuel, ect without the AEM EMS?

Hi,
If you have a fair price in mind, please let me know.
I thought it was safe to run the supercharger on a stock setup? My end goal is simply to meet emissions when the car transfers to me. And I certainly appreciate your help.

Got a picture of under your hood? The FPR is easy to spot. The other I know would have been removed when the AEM was installed. There is no point if both being wired in at the same time, they do the same thing.

Comptech didn't use a timing controller, just the rising rate FMU. Vortech used a timing controller. Both use a MAP sensor voltage clamp, the Comptech is called a ESM, for Electronic Signal Modifier. It should have been wired in to the engine harness behind the drivers kick panel. If you don't have one you will have a CEL whenever the engine sees boost.

Appreciate the help gents. Does a world exist where I can equip the AEM EMS with an OBD II sensor and pass emissions? And Stratocaster, I'm happy to buy a set of injectors if you've a fair price. There's a fair amount of Rick's gear on the s2k if that means anything.
