AEM EMS and Basic setup
It seams that the information available to us on how to setup AEM EMS is somewhat limited. What I want to get documented here, is how to setup the basic.
1. Rev limiter to replicate the stock ECU (6k cold, 9k Hot)
2. vtec change over to replicate the stock ECU
3. AC Setup
4. Evap setup
5. Closed loop tuning w/Wideband
6. Any other basic things that need to be setup, prior to tuning.
I know there is a number of EMS installation out there, and I am sure the setup is basicly the same for a number of setting, but there is no central thread with them. I wanted this thread to serve that role. AEM forum seams to be short on info in these areas as well, and fairly inactive by AEM support personal. Atleast in our sub forum
Thanks

LS3, Bypass solenoid valve
LS4, Purge control solenoid
LS5, Control canister vent
The problem is that the factory ECU uses a votage levels from the sloenoids to turn on or off the evap system. The EMS does not read voltage off these lines. It's either 5V or ground.

That's all for now, can't give away everything or I'll be out of a job

you could set up the two step on a switched input, you could use a thermoswitch if you could find one at the range your looking for. but if you going to be tuning your own ems, I think your smart enough to take it easy on your car until it gets up to temp.
