The coating does help but I think it just holds the heat in more now. I'm only getting the turbine blanket for extra security.

Sounds good on the heat shield and I'd like to see some pics when you can.

Ok..........It's been confirmed by my tuner that the EMS does NOT use the VTEC oil pressure switch. So, it can be removed and plugged.

Let me know what you plug it with. There is an o ring that sits with the sensor so whatever you use be careful you don't get any leaks. kane has a pic of his and it looks like he used a regular bolt with some teflon.

I'll let you know but if you look closely, there is a groove cut out on the VTEC controller where the sensor goes and the oring sits in there.

I'll be looking for a nice aluminum plug that I can use the oring with and will keep you posted.
