Default AEM EMS w/ UEGO

i am going to get an aem ems soon and i am not sure if i should pick up the uego with it also. it is an extra $300 for the uego. is it worth it to get the uego too? and what exactly does it do? it seems its just a a/f ratio gauge... i need some advice... please help... thanks!!

I recommend the 30-1052U which comes w/ the uego 02 sensor. You can monitor/datalog/tweak/tune everything using a laptop w/ serial port.

Yes, it is important to have a Wideband with AEM EMS. The 30-1052U has an internal controller and no display gauge. The 30-1052 needs an external Wideband, but you can use most of the major models easy, and the less major with some effort.

In other words, "Don't drive without one"
