Will this be able to control the VTEC engagement point?

I should have my first article on the production 01-05 harness this week. Once it's approved then they will be made available.
Cool - as soon as the harness is available I will order one.

The unit I ordered arrived at my tuner! Will schedule a tuning session at the end of this week or early next week.

Check the AEM forums - http://forum.aempower.com/forum/inde...c,20028.0.html

A couple tuners had some issues and AEM is supposed to get a car in for testing today. They have not finalized the harness yet and are having some issues with VTEC control and timing control.

I know the eManage ULT allows you to use the wideband to set a target AF and it will fill in the cells for you. Not sure if the F/IC does the same.

Given Greddy's past performance regarding support, documentation, etc... I will likely go with the AEM.

I also like:

AEM does 21x17 mapping where the ULT only does 16x16

AEM uses both cam sensors for timing management where ULT only uses one

I do like that the ULT will do A/F target tuning - not sure if the AEM does. I also think that the ULT does slightly better logging and with a flash update will be able to monitor the knock sensor with a pending firmware update (again - not sure if the AEM will be capable of it).
regular emanage allows you to set target a/f based on a wideband reading too. just hack it to the gold version

That's my car waiting on help from AEM. Hopefully everything will be sorted by next week.

questions....

1) I assume an aftermarket map sensor is out of the question is this true?

2) can you hook up the aem serial gauge to it?

3) the wideband gauge sensor would be there as a standalone and using that information you would tune..
