AEM FIC finally out
Just thought I'd bump this up with new info...it looks like they've figured out the problem with this thing:

So basically, the "standard" FIC (30-1910) can be used on a 2006-2007 S2000 with no problems. As for a 2000-2005 S2000, a hardware update is needed for the FIC to function properly. They apparently have the hardware fix available for existing FICs, but an updated unit to purchase outright isn't available on their shelves yet.

Just read the thread... Only thing I want to contribute is the point at which the ECU runs open-loop operation...
Here is a link to where member "RT" monitored the VAFC A/F input via o2.... anything over 25% is open loop. Anything above 5000RPM, regardless of TPS output.
