Do you still need to add in the resistor with this setup or were things updated to not need to? I'm not seeing where a resistor needs added to the system on the GaugeArt I just purchased.

 

I purchased mine pretty early in it's life so I could not tell you how things have changed. But it was a super badass setup. I'll miss that gauge setup and my turbo s2k

 

looks like i'm going to find out, mines freezing now after 5 years. time to contact them.



update, they said its possibly signal interference on the canbus cable. going to tidy thing up and see what happens.

 

needed a new motherboard in the gaugeart. had to warranty, was a breeze. what an awesome company.... took a few rounds of back and forth on the phone but eventually. months later, they fixed it.

 

They gave you a warranty after 5 years? I'd say thats some awesome customer service.

I just got mine installed a few weeks ago. Connecting to the infinity was a breeze and everything worked right out of the box. The only thing I noticed is the connector/wires going into the connector are pretty fragile looking, so I could easily see those being a point of failure. But mine is working great for now so I'm pretty pleased with it.
