Why would you not want a tune? You are already not having enough money to turbo, but at the same time you will risk your motor to save some money? When in the end it'll cost you how much more to get up and going?

You don't need a tune with a base supercharger kit. Especially a comptech. Run mid to low 12's out of the box bolt on.

Do you have an aftermarket clutch or is your stocker in good shape?

If not you may not get all that new found power to the wheels.

Thats nice and all but every car is a bit different, every setup is a bit different. Why not extract as much power out of your setup and be safe at the same time?

Also if your numbers are way off on the dyno there is a good chance you'll catch something before anything bad happens to your car.

Just seems logical to me IMO.
