I do use ice on some runs. And on some runs I just use tap water if I am not going to push the motor. So thats why the temperature swing varies...depending on what temp of water i put into the box.

So I did Cadwell park (UK) on Thursday. Car ran faultless but my AIT temps shite when on boost.

Outside air temp was 28'c and as soon as I started WOT pull's the AIT's went incrementally from 45'c all the way to 65'c @ 9200 rpm.

I have come to the conclusion that the CT aftercooler isn't big enough for a Novi 1200. I have an upgraded pump and large heat exchanger so this can be the only cause.... very frustrating as the only option I can see is a bigger aftercooler (no room) or water/meth wont

Oh and I am yet to relocate the sensor but that won't make a difference to this problem.

Depending on the market, you could sell your sc kit and but a new sos sc kit for a little more money out of pocket. This is comparing it to buying or building an sos sized aftercooler for your curgent kit.

Sos has a better tensioner for the pulley belt, too.

I like your your idea. Is this the best place to locate the temp sensor? What size grommet did you use?

I do not recall teh size of grommet, you are better off measuring your sensor and finding our own grommet.

This is what I did with my Vortech aftercooler, but I used some black adhesive to keep the grommet from popping out, just in case.

What temps are you seeing now? I've seen it no cooler than 6* above ambient and no hotter than 15* above ambient. Cold ambient temp was low 60's and hot ambient temp was 100*
