Are all boost solenoids the same?
I currently have a greddy solenoid from my profec b spec 2 installed. My tuner wants me to switch to aem ems and told me to get the aem solenoid. Is there any difference between the 2? They look the same other than the sticker. Also, how do you test a boost solenoid off the car?
Thanks
Thanks
The AEM is a re-branded MAC valve. You can find them around $25.
If the coil is the same voltage I don't see why it matters. They're both 3-way 12v, and most likely 3w. There might be some timing differences, but I doubt it. Ask him why and let us know.
EDIT: if they're both blue-green, they're both MAC's. Run what you have.

So is Hondata, the other popular option is the GM solonoid.
