well, the ass broke loose; not very hard to do in sloppy snow though It sounded insane though! Wastegate hasnt even opened, I have the fuel cut at 15psi as Id like to NOT go higher than that(.8 bar wastegate spring though, no controller).
Cars cold enough, more bleeding here we come

HOLY SHIT! That about sums it up.
My 4000rpm 7psi claim wasnt exactly true; datalogging revealed:
1psi at 4000rpm, 13psi at 5300rpm. Yes it hits like a TON of bricks VTEC is 4 tons of bricks shagging 3rd gear to 9300rpm
This is an EASY EASY 400whp. My AFR's are pegged low at 11.0:1 so Im probably somewhere in the 10:1 AFR's. I want to wait until the dyno to mess with that as Im not sure I have traction in 3rd. Roads dryed out, but have salty dust on them; now its snowing again.

Oil filter kits are ALLLLMost done! I had to drill my own holes in the adapter-bolt(definately wont attempt this for customers, youd wince at it ), but solid oil pressure throughout!

I checked your website for a Vmount kit but I didn`t see any...So my next question is will you make a kit simillar to the one shown above with the GT35 Turbocharger?...I know looks don`t matter much to people when they want HP. I guess I am different. I want a kit to look as good as it possibly can...No to say your other kits don`t look good...But there is just something about that setup that is pleasing to my eyes.....Anyway the way you described it you have a complete monster on your hands. 5000RPMS seems a bit long to make some boost thats why I asked about a smaller charger....Anyway thanks for the response and the update good luck with the whole project.....John

If you dont mind losing your AC, sure I can duplicate this setup. It wont be cheap, probably $1000 MORE than the standard kit(if you want a GT40, ANOTHER $1000).
As for being too "laggy", its surprisingly not.
You cruise at 60mph, nearly 4000rpm. You touch the throttle anywhere, boost starts. In 1000 RPM, youre at full tire-blazing, diff-wrenching power This passes VERY quickly BTW.

As for the wince comment, I almost didnt use the bolt, as the holes ended up being HUGE. I did want to test torque specs, etc, and this held up to 60ft/lbs with just a tiny bit of material between holes. Obviously production parts will have more strength.
Im seeing exactly the same oil pressure as stock a couple of weeks ago.

I think the only video youll all be getting will be in the snow; not a problem but until the roads dry out again, there wont be any "speed" depicting videos. My buddy "bystanded" me ripping through 3rd and into 4th and promptly called me afterward; "That thing is a ROCKETSHIP!" lol
Im going to try and and shoot some dyno footage when I strap down sometime later this week/weekend.

Cody,

I have a quick request. Since you do a huge amount of turbo setups and changes to your own, would it be possible to do some runs for spool (possibly power too) with different turbos this summer? I'd love to see 4th or 5th gear rpm vs load logs (from 1500 rpm up) from the AEM EMS for the GT3071R, GT3076R, GT35R, and GT40R. I'll try to do some for the 3076R with 0.63 and 0.82 a/r turbine housings myself, but don't have any other turbos to play with. I know it would be a PITA, but this information has always been so hard to find and I think it would really help people trying to choose different turbos.

Tim

well, Ill have customers with identical setups using a variety of different turbos; its not OPTIMAL, but gives a general idea. I never thought in a million years that I would have 13 psi by 5300rpm on this GT4088R. The GT35Rs have to be before 5000rpm.
If I have to spend $5k extra next year to help with "tax season" Ill buy a bunch of turbos and test them out But I agree, itd be nice to see these back-to-back.
