According to that if you have over 36k miles the coverage starts 500 miles after you change the fluid. It specifically states the diff housing isn't covered and they will replace parts with "like kind and quality", which they will probably interpret as used. Plus coverage on diffs with 36k+ is only good up to $2k.

I have the "A" plan because i started using their products at 35633 miles. That means its covered up to 4000 dollars, and the housing can be covered under certail conditions. I know their rep very well and hopefully it should all work out. I will keep you posted.

I was using mobile 1 synthetic 75-90 but I switched to the bg 75-90 because of the warranty. It lasted 75 miles at most. DO NOT USE THAT FLUID!! it states to be 75-90 but when i poured it into a pale it poured like water. The mobile 1 is supposed to be the same viscocity but is much thicker than the bg fluid.

Now to the imortant part, I got the diff delivered today, finally. I got the old diff out in about 30 minutes with a buddy of mine at the shop. Not that hard at all as long as you have a lift and air...It went in just fine and then when I went to put the driveshaft back on I realized the bolts that hold the driveshaft to the diff were too small. Appearantly the 05 diff holes are larger than the 2000.It looks like I have to order the bolts from honda in order to make it work. Im worried that the bolts from the 05 arent going to fit through the holes in the driveshaft though, I think they are going to be too thick. Has anyone ryn into this? My plan is to hollow out the holes slightly to make the bigger bolts fit through unless anyone else has a better idea. Right now I have 10.9 grade bolts/lockwasher/nuts holding my driveshaft to the new diff. I only did that to get home I wanna do it the right way. Anyway the good news is the noise is gone and im going to take the old diff apart soon to see wht happened

you can change the input shaft on the ap2 diff to bolt the ap1 driveshaft to it, or change the end part of the drive shaft, if you want to keep the parts OEM

if you are willing to modify, I don't know what you need to do
