Nice !
The only problem you may run into if you increase your boost and power is that you'll need a beefier clutch (if you're still on OEM) and a beefier differential - at what power level does the diff start to fall apart?

Wish Honda had made the drivetrain a bit stronger....

Its funny I have 91,000 miles on my car, and I have been boosted for the last 20,000 miles or so, though (253ftlbs of Torque) and I have no slipping whatsoever

The power won't break it, but a good wheel hop shattered mine. The clutch's life is definitely going to be short though.

If I could fine just one person to teach me how to eliminate wheel hop that would be awsome. How to set up the suspension ect. Parts, what ever.

Its definitely capable of more power. With the greddy turbo in the high rpms it felt like I was pushing superheated air just to get a few more ponies. This thing just takes off and doesnt stop till redline. You have to watch the revs a lot closer than the greddy turbo, this thing goes up quickly. Im above 70% efficiency with this turbo right up to 9krpms. If you look at the compressor map the turbo has lots more to give, apart from the intake piping, I think the Greddy IC and piping is fine for more power, might pay to change the DP to slightly bigger 3" . For now Im loving it, drives like stock till 4000rpms, then really takes off and doesnt stop.

Oh by the way I already have a 3" single , HFC and a ACT clutch kit that was put on the greddy kit when I first started.

I havent brought the car up in the twisties yet, but will do on the weekend. I think this powerband is going to be a lot more predictable than the greddy.

Yeah I sent an email to P-tuning if I can use the PFAB Tubular, GT3976r, 3" downpipe, with the E-manage and 750cc Injectors I may do that, maybe even the PFAB charge piping, I dunno, I will see what they say

Lucky77, the turbo wasnt off the shelf. Its cartridge is from a gt3076r. Has a GT28 compressor housing which was bored out to accomodate the larger fan. Damn steering rack! Ive got about a 5-8mm gap from the rack. The GT28 compressor housing is about 10mm larger than the greddy from memory.

Joey, sounds awesome. With the tubular and GT30r with ext wastegate you should pull some nice numbers.

Sorry didnt take pics of when I had everything apart. Never really done anything like this but it was relatively easy as long as you take your time, look on this board for answers and ask the super helpful members. Here are some pics I took this morning, bit messy still need to clean the intake up, coolant lines etc. (I wasnt sure this was going to work so I made some tempory fittings) Looks almost identical to the greddy kit.

Hi Everyone, thought I would fill you guys in with the upgrade I did to the Greddy Kit.

All runs were done on the same dyno, quite a low reading mainline dynolog.

Stock NA I got 180hp. With the greddy kit at 14psi on E85 and AEM EMS I did a 307hp. Just got the car back with the garret 3076wg with front compressor housing off a GT28 and did a 347hp at 14psi. Thats a delta of 167hp from stock, love it.

The car feels absolutely unreal! It spools about 800-1000rpms later but when it gets going its incredible. Almost feels like the powerband of a NA s2k. With the greddy turbo it felt like it spool instantly and fell on its face in the higher rpms. This turbo just keeps on pulling. No doubt there is a lot left in this turbo. The great news is I used the greddy manifold, dp, actuator, oil return etc I only had to change the intake pipe as the compressor housing was 3" and I didnt want to use the greddy one which was 2.75".

Anyway just thought I would let everyone know and Ill try and post the dyno as soon as I figure out how to post it on here, Im crap at computers.

Cheers

Mark
What have you changed for new system? Did you reuse the oil drain, feed and WG actuator?

Injectors
Suction Pipe (Filter to Turbo)
