Gavins car is with the stock exhaust system, cat and manifold and Uses the Supersport kit. The race kit uses the C38-91, huge 4 inch fmic and a slightly smaller supercharger pulley and pulls over 20 psi boost. Would work great on and F22 with the extra capacity it would be awesome. Needs boosted coil packs as well.

Does it get any belt slip at that sort of boost levels? Tempted to look into this kit and use the boost limiter valve to limit top end boost to around 12-14 psi.

There isnt a boost limiter valve as such, its restricted by the smaller diameter pipework and intercooler to around 10psi.
Havent noticed any belt slip on mine

Not with this kit but there is a company that sells a boost limiter valve that I would plan to use if getting a stage 3 kit. That way I can hit much more boost early on and bleed off past 14 psi to redline.

Over a year on, I thought it worth re-visiting this thread for an update.

I have now done over 10,000 miles with the TTS Rotrex Kit. In this time I have changed from the stock clutch to an ACT HDSS clutch kit. The stock clutch looked in good condition when it was removed, but it would slip with quick gear changes in Vtec, such as when on track. I have also added an engine oil cooler, again, when using on track tempertures would go above 120 degc without it. The only trouble I've had was a simple issue with an idler pully bearing which needed to be changed. Engine wise there have been no problems.

Here are a couple of videos that i've put on you tube since lastime:

Video of the Car on a second, different dyno 6 months after the install.

Video of the car on the Autobahn in Germany and a lap of the Nurburgring.

have also added the Spa track day video to the earlier post.

Very nice setup. Still a bit confused about restricting power you already have from that giant blower.

I'm a Rotrex C30 guy at 380hp/250tq and I track and drive all day long with no issues.
Absolutely love it.

Cheers.
