Anyone done this? Is this even possible?
Was browsing online and saw this write up.. I'm wondering if that will actually work and if it will be strong enough to support any boost.

Lets say you get some beefed up H22 rods and some low comp S2000 pistons, would that be safe to boost?
Anyone else heard about this?

I have seen it done, the tricky part is getting a properly sized H22 piston to fit the factory frm sleeve in your car. They are all a few thousanths of difference. Sleeving the block provides a cheap stroker, and b-series oil squirters can be used to keep the pistons lubricated and cool (a must in my opinion due to the shortened rod and increased stroke).
The comment about the s2000 pistons with the TSX crank and H22 rods will NOT work. The piston pin to dome height is different, you must use H22 rods and pistons to maintain a zero deck clearance. The one that I saw was a guys in Bloomington Indiana, it put down 255 WHP with a factory ECU. He just bumped fuel pressure slightly to compensate for the added displacement. This engine needs an EMS to get any real power out of it, and his ran like crap unless in wide open throttle. I imagine you could expect 280 WHP with an EMS and injectors, with much better idle/starting characteristics. I do remember he was running the factory sleeves, and had to purchase 6 pistons for a H22A1 Prelude just to get 4 that properly fit. The tolerances for the FRM Honda blocks are ridiculously close in terms of piston to cylinder wall clearance. So a 0.001" variance is everything. I will try to get a hold of this guy, I have not talked to him in almost a year now and he may have an EMS and a better tune by now.
I have been saving parts to do this myself, I am going sleeved though. All of the H22 Prelude parts are much cheaper than the F20C1 or F22C1 parts. The crank was only $600 new from Acura, and forged pistons and rods are plentiful for the H22. It cost me a little over $100 for the machine shop to shave the back of the crank and open up the journals. Now I just need the money to have the block sleeved.

Try this guys.
