Default Anyone have a VTEC "hickup" with Comptech SC?

I have a AP2 with the comptech SC, 8psi pulley and VAFC2.

Most of the time at vtec, the car will hesitate and then go into vtec. I don't know if the problem is in the FPR and not sending fuel in time or the vafc messing up for some reason.

Has anyone had this problem before? Any info would be appretiated.

My car would not pull as hard in vtec when i first installed the vortech unit. It turned out that one of my wire contacts to the vortech black timing box was not solid. I respliced them and she worked just fine.

I am not sure if you comptech guys have a box to retard timing, but I am guessing that your problem is electrical instead of mechanical(ie. not enough fuel from the FPR). I would recheck and redo my wire connections.

Mine acted similar a while ago...in my case, I did the "MAP whack" and the car ran fine again after the ECU relearned.
