Map clamp set to high. ECU is seeing boost at 6k and stopping it.

Could be the clamp, but I have experienced the 1259 and it does exactly what he described also. Did you change the vtec point? If it's throwing the cel before vtec changeover, it's the map clamp. The clamp should be around 2.85. If you changed the vtec changeover you should set it back to stock and see if it goes away.

vtec point was never changed according to my tuner. it throws the code about 5 seconds after turning it on. i'll have him look at the clamp points, or i'll do it myself once i can get ahold of the appropriate cable to hook the emanage up to my computer (seems to have problems on xp).

sound like vtec is not compatable with the e-mange. just like my aem f/ic, what aem told me to do is not to hook up the vtec wire at all, i also had some issue samiler to yours, where my car won't rev up pass 6k, and when reaches 6k, it would throw a cel, and car goes into limp mode, but my problem is when i hook up the crk wire to the f/ic, but when the crk wire is hook up back to stock, car runs fine, but im not able to boost more then 7psi because i can't adjust the timing

This has nothing to do with it. The E-manage can control VTEC. And the AEM FIC might not control it but it is still operational.

And what the hell is a CRK wire? I reckon you might be getting confused with the CRacK pipe.

-Thread jack- any resolution with this problem, mines is getting stuck at 6k too .. wtf..


i can hold (8lbs) of boost for as long as it takes to get to 6krpm, wont go past 6k, hits it really hard ... im running emanage ultimate!

anyone know of any parameters that might be restricting me of going through my whole rpm range ? i did remove the vtec silenoid during my turbo install and re install it.. could that be it ?

not poping a CEL tho... weird!

anyone know where i can get the cbl to hack into my emanage ult
