Well, my tuner reckons that the exhaust is a major contributor to the loss of power at the top end. As far as boost creep, he is sure that is it controllable with the tune itself. I get retuned next week so we shall see how well everything goes with a much more free flowing exhaust.

Its a timing issue. My tuner got rid of the VTEC dip by bumping VTEC higher, and pulling timing.

Yeah, which is what my tuner did, bumped Vtec to 7250 I believe to get me through.

Maybe i'm stupid, but is the greddy kit a quick, low rpm spooling kit? You seem to be at max torque very quickly and your power band has fallen off by 6200rpm, you're still making power - it's just not at max torque where you accelerate fastest. Who tuned the k-pro for you? As stated, vtec engagement should be moved up in the rpm band b/c IMO it does you no good to be in vtec but out of power band. What is exhaust size? Compression ratio?

edit - am i scatterbrained?

We don't have a delta to compare it to, even a base run with an untuned car, so the dyno unfortunately is meaningless in the "peak" numbers respect.
I was hoping my tuner would have provided a delta graph to compare to but unfortunately he didn't.

Looks pretty much dead on for your current set up, if you want a bit more out of it up the boost a few PSI and get a better exhaust maybe the new Invidia V4. You may also want to consider moving the Vtec dip up as others suggested. You'll will get around 280hp. I am sure the car feels much better now!

Yes, the Greddy kit is a quick, low spooling kit due it's small turbo size (equivalent to 18g).

Tapp Auto tuned the K-Pro for me. They ahve an in house Mustang Dyno and the tuner is very experienced and has been a friend of mine for amny years. Althoughhe has onyl tuned 1 other K-Pro/Greddy turbo equipped S2K and I unfortunately did not get a chance to take a look at his graph to compare, the other customer did do a head gasket and is running 12-13psi I believe.

The bumping of the vtec enagement is something I plant o mention to him later today, I don't think he is aware of this common issue from these kits.

Exhaust is stock and compression is stock with a comp ratio of 11.1:1
