okay guys so i bought a ap2 supercharger kit on craigslist, heres the deal i have an ap1, i installed everything already but since i have dont have the map controller is there anyway i can by pass it because the car bogs out when you full throttle it? please guys your help will be awesome.

 

You need a map clamp or aftermarket EMS. The factory ECU does not like boost.

If the kit is a vortech unit then the map clamp is built into the timing/fuel injector control box . Have you installed the 5th injector ? An ap2 kit will work in an ap1 but the boost will be higher .

 

yeah but according too vortech i cant use a 04 timing control box for my ap1 because its set different is there anything maybe i can bypass that or connect the 32p green/red and blue/red wires differently?because when i connect those 2 wires the car wont start for nothing.

Perhaps the box has a problem ?? It should work .

but i have an ap2 so i upgraded so no used for the box
