snakeeater: we were reading off the gauge and it was on the manifold.

Alright, thanks for the inputs guys!! I will get my blower back by next week, and I've decided to put the kit back on. Hopefully it will work this time. (finger crossed!!!)

try again, and if this happens again, check for plugged cat. Also when was boost building, if early, plugged cat.
On ap1, with 5 psi kit, you have no boost till in vtec. even then its uber weak. just buy the 10 psi pulley and put it on now before you even reinstall it. 5psi is BORING.
later, hope you get it handled. dave

but if he had boost and it was taking 75 hp to turn a blower with bad bearings he would not feel crap.
No belt would even come close to be able to provide 75 HP. If the blower had bad gears/seals/whatnot it wouldn't turn effectively enough to give boost. The belt would slip bad and rip.

If you got boost, but were tuned safe, you could've been 'too safe' where too rich would rob you of your $4000/100HP joy.

Put it back on, have a _good_ _reputable_ tuner look it all over, and recheck the Wideband setup to make sure it's getting the correct reading.
