Bad Tune? Greddy recently installed.
That is not what I said ... I said I have many cars RUNNING track days
The wideband he was using tells him what the AFR is . That does not tell him what the factory ECU is doing . Since you are using a piggyback you have to make sure the two are happy with each other. You cant set fuel trim by watching the Wideband. You also need to know you have long and short term fuel trims as well . It needs to be done with a Scan tool and the tuner needs to understand how it works.
If the trims go positive (because it is trying to correct for the lean condition)it will throw a lean light , If the trims go negative it will throw a rich light .
You are welcome to have the tuner call me at my shop 603-856-8833 and I will try to explain to him what needs to be done. If I dont feel he understands what I am saying or has a clue I can let you know my thoughts.
What more important - Quick solution or not destroying your engine ??
Here are a few rules to live by in the modded world
1- dont mod you only car if you need it to get to work.
2- What ever you think it cost triple it for unforseen issues or failure to know you can afford someone elses mistake ( bad tuner , parts failure , etc)
3- If you want it to be just like stock , keep it stock
(the right tuner can accomplish this but it cost $$$ and time to dial a car in perfect)

Good advice indeed! What I meant was I don't want to have to go through all this again. So I feel as if I should go with a different tuner. I heard Church does great work on S2000's but they're a bit far.
Twiztid, can you tune my car via webcam?! lol My tuning experience with this tuner wasn't a very good one. Then again, I have nothing to compare to being my first time at a tuner. Two tunes and still can't get it right, do a few runs and is MIA for 20 minutes at a time, at least 1 and a half hours late both times and didn't start til an hour and a half after that.

Oh and he almost drove my car off the dyno because it wasn't centered and drifted to the left, knowing my car was lowered, didn't bother to check clearance and my exhaust caught twice on the dyno's lip thingie.

Got new plugs and made sure they were gapped .32, issue still exists. I talk to the tuner and he said he'd take a look and fix it. So I guess I'll just take it back as many times as it takes for them to get it right.
