Thanks for the update Rob. I'm going to assume you can highly recommend them as a tuner?

YES, I would...! James (the actual tuner) is very meticulous. In fact just from me being around the shop during this project I can say that a number of other race teams including one from Canada, and one from Montana have trailored their race cars over to have them "Fine-Tuned" by Speed Factory. They have also sponsored "Dyno / Tune Days" at Pacific Raceways

Two weeks ago Speed Factory also took 1st Place at the New England Nationals....winning the event with their Turbo car.

After about 7,500 miles with the turbo installed; I noticed that the OEM Motor Mount had $hit the bed

It's likely that it happened around the 4,000 - 5,000 mile mark.... but I just didn't notice

The drivers side OEM mount literally tore in half.

After much debate about which mount to replace it with, and a good read through the recent FBM/AVID Motor Mount Thread, I decided to go with the Hasprot mount.

I chose the 62A Urethane hardness rating as it very closely matched the PTuning urethane hardness of 60A

The Hasport mount did require a slight modification to the mounting bracket, where it needed a "Cut-Out" to sit flush against the block. Looking closely at the picture, it appears that Hasport intended to perform the "Cut-Out" but it had been missed on the top plate. I called Hasport and they commented that they had not heard about the issue thus far

Maybe they had two different production runs some got the "Cut-Out"....and some didn't..?

Either way, trimming the bracket took like two-minutes...so it really didn't matter.

All-in-All pretty happy with the end result. There's no added vinration over and above that which was already present from when the PTuning kit was first installed (which replaces the passenger side motor mount)

Lol lazy man. I think a shield will be our only option bc it looks like ptuning has given up on the cold air box.
