Hey Rob, looking forward to you getting your ride done! And I sure as hell hope after all this time and money that it spanks the shit out of my ride in the straits, becuase my used Comptech and vafc didn't really cost that much

Nothing like injecting water to boost piston pressure back up again, plus I get the benefits of lower compression in 2 cylinders. If I melt the other two I'll have a balanced motor, just not blue printed
Just received the info / blue-printed information back from Ben at Puddmod Racing who did an outstanding build on the Puddymod Stage-3 rear diff.
The interesting part of the build is the OS Giken LSD. OS Giken (Japan) recently decided to revamp the design of the LSD unit, enhancing the cone springs, internal mechaics, and tightening the tolorances even further.
With the help of Horsepower Freaks out of Portland Oregon, they were able to contact OS Giken Japan and ask them to assemble the new version of the production run that is due to be released in September of this year....and express 2-day ship that LSD unit to Ben at Puddymod (Florida) specifically for this differential build. Basically the diff that Puddymod built is production run #1....part #1 of the new OS Giken design.....just thought it was kind of cool.
I have to say that Ben (Puddymod) really knows his stuff, he's great to talk with and an absolute voodoo mad-scientist.
Thanks again Ben

UPDATE: - 7/27 Received the Puddymod Stage-3 Differential. Thanks a bunch to Ben with Puddymod Racing for doing such a great job..! The most interesting part of the differential build is that the OS Giken LSD used is the first LSD from their new production run that is due to be released in September of this year. Part #1 of Production run #1 of the improved design for the S2000. Many Thanks to Kirk at Horsepower Freaks out of Portland Oregon who contacted OS Giken Japan and requested a special advance run on the new LSD unit. Horsepower Freaks customer service was some of the best I've ever received...!
The comments with the pics below are from Ben at PuddyMod:
Differential internals are cryo-treated and replaced with heavy-duty steel PuddyMod design, ring & pinion de-burred, housing reinforced, housing parkerized "black", differential set-up to better than factory specs. Stage-3 130,000 psi
OS Giken LSD unit disassembled & being prepped for installation.

This pic shows the assembly

This pic shows balancing the carrier and the ring gear, balance is a half thousands true round. (a little blurry)

This pic shows the PuddyMod solid steel sleeve bering set

This pic shows the turning torque on the pinion after the PuddyMod solid steel sleeve is custom fitted, it is set at 12 inch pounds.

This pic shows the backlash set at 2.5 to 3.0 thousands, it also shows the perfect gear to gear pattern.

This pic shows the finished rear build. Note the information on the OSG LSD.....and the Cryo-Treated stamp on the side of the housing.

Just got a call from the engine builder....they have the motor put back together, but they do not like how the CP 10:1 pistons are fitting into the deck. From what they are saying the top of the piston is sticking up approximately 40-thousandths above the top of the deck....which they say is "not right". CP altered the location height of the wrist pins on their 10:1 piston which is supposedly what is causing the issue.
They are in the process of working it out with CP.......but either way........it's costing more time. Better to do it right I guess

It's Always Something...!
I'll take suggestions on where / which MFG has an S2000 designed, 88mm, Flat-top 10:1 piston.......don't really want to drop to the 9:1
Open to ideas.....
