Vtec is set right about 5250-ish.....right about where the HP and Torque cross. I think the torque curve falls a bit due to the reset red-line at 9500.....I think I've seen a 40 - 50 torque drop off as kind of typical... but who knows.
The end result numbers are actually a bit lower than a true reading as the shop tuned the car in 5th gear which is not as close to the 1:1 ratio of fourth gear (something with their dyno from what I understood).....they commented that a 4th gear pull would have actuall shown more like 515 - 520 HP and 355 - 360-ish on Torque.
What I can say is by the time I hit 9500 RPM with my foot to the floor.....$hizz is moving by so fast that I ain't thinkin about the torque numbers....just holding on to my a$$
I can say that I'm glad that I knew ahead of time that there might be some sound coming from the diff that was to be expected....or I would have incorrectly thought something was wrong
