Battery placement and size?
I had to move my battery for safety sake with my custom turbo manifold and was wondering what you guys are doing with yours?
Here is what I did with mine and the battery sucks.. Its dies in a day or two, I got a warrenty on the first one from batterys plus and now this is my second one and they will not warrenty it again. First one over charged and had a dead cell.

I do not want it in the trunk as then I would have to put a vented box in and mount a kill switch on the exterior of the car to run at the track. So I ask, what have you guys done.

Mines in the trunk, oem size.
I wish I thought it over before doing it though as I have to mount a kill switch as well now. The only place I can think of now withough drilling anypart of my car is mounting the switch on the liscense plate for the track. And putting the other plate back on for street use.

truth, my local track once cared a great deal, then they were bought out and changed names. now, they dont give a F%$K! my buddy was running 10.7@137 with no cage, battery exposed in a hatch for all to see, a sweet coca cola bottle catch can etc etc. they said no nines no care.

How long does it last? This one seems to die.. A LOT! Like I could use it one day then the next its dead. And its brand new.. Maybe I need to get a high current charger and make sure its full and keep it on a tender. Its in the fender so it's a pain if it dies, I have terminals in the bay to jump it. Its getting old having to jump it everytime I want to work on it.
