i've got one too, and i'd love to do the same thing. i realize that we're not making tons and tons of boost, but i dont like having a plastic bypass valve hanging out in my bay.

you can fit the BOV on in one of two ways...

1) get an HKS flange with a universal 'adapter' on it. check here..

linky stinky

it's basically a regular HKS flange with a pipe on it. you can use the pipe to just run hosing to it from the aftercooler port.

2. have a good shop chop off the port on the aftercooler and weld on a flange for you. the only downside to this is that many SOS kits come powdercoated. i certainly dont want anyone messing up my nice black cooler!

having the bosch bypass valve does have its advantages though. it's small and unobtrusive and fits perfectly with the kit (obviously), which allows you to very easily recirculate. i am almost done with my SOS install (just waiting for the heat exchanger to come in the mail!) but i will certainly experiment with both valves and report back.

1. The HKS bov, as nice as it is, does not work well for s/c's. The Greddy RS or Type-S (which I'm using on my KW) is very sensative and does a good job.

2. You will need to put up with continuous idle bov noise.

3. The aftercooler bung may work with some bov's already but otherwise, I recommend welding on a modular flange such as http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant...tegory_Code=FLA (match alum or steel to the aftercooler material)

4. You should be able to buy a rubber coupler without the recirc hole to swap out (maybe ATP has it as well)
