I've been having the same issues with bolts backing out. I used studs with lock washers and those eventually backed out also. I've tacked my nuts to my studs then my studs backed out.
Im probably going to end up going back to bolts and tacking those. I also made an extra bracket to hold the dp from vibrating and will also be looking into making a bracket for the turbo. im running a pfab top mount mani.

and here's a link for a jig that makes it easy to drill your own

Just from looking at the photos, it would be easy to fabricate something to do the same thing, say a nut welded to a plate, with a stop nut behind it. About five minutes work would save you the cost of this thing and make it easy to drill regular bolts for safety wire, too.

How do you set them up if they dont exactly rest up against your holding surface ?
You will most likely have to grind the cams to make them sit against the surface snugly.
Key to make the job easier is to try and get 12 point heads instead of 6 points so this way you have a lot more cam positions to play with.
I ran thes bolts for maybe almost 2 years and no issues.
I tried nordlock washers, pressure washers, etc and nothing worked but this.

Just like sgtB said you tighten thema bit more so this way if they go to loosen up the cam will hit the surface and the bolt can't go nowhere.

but you can use stage 8 bolts for anything
I have no pix of my particular setup but if you google stage 8 you'll find plenty of 'em
I only have the stage 8 bolts on my manifold . They almost all snug right up against the tubes, but a few stuborn ones just wont play ball. Guess I will trim them up. Rest of my kit will be safety wired. I come from the oil field i know how great the safetywire method is

I took the journey of drilling the existing bolt heads, what a pita that was. I did have the drilling kit for that but it was just time consuming. Plus if you aren't great at safety-wiring then it won't work, that's when I reached out to stage8
